September 26'th - Muay Thai Seminar with UFC Fighter Fatima Kline  - Come and learn directly from Fatima . Our Seminars are limited to 20  participants MAX so everyone gets plenty of hands on instruction and attention from the UFC Star that day. Open to all ages and all schools students are welcome. There will be time after each seminar for each participant to get a photo with and 1 autograph signed from the UFC Star. We are down to 5 spots left for this one, call or stop in to get signed up!

1pm - Meet & Greet - $40 ( limited to 10 people ) , includes photo op and 1 autograph. must bring your own item to be autographed or we have gloves and trading cards of the fighter here for purchase.

October 16'th - Lions Den Annual Halloween Party !! 5:30pm - 7:30pm. Come in costume , all youth students will receive a large pumpkin to carve here for the contest. Piñata , Costume contest , Pumpkin carving contest , gift bags , prizes , Music and lots of fun. This is free but is a Halloween themed pot luck so just bring 1 pot luck item per family. Lots of food & drinks for the entire family.

November 7 'th - Seminars with UFC Fighter Erin Blanchfield  - Come and learn directly from Erin! Our Seminars are limited to 30 participants MAX this day so everyone gets plenty of hands on instruction and attention from the UFC Star. There will be time after each seminar for each participant to get a photo with and 1 autograph signed from the UFC Star.  Seminars are open to all.  Gloves and trading cards of the UFC fighter will be for sale at the event if you want to purchase something to get signed.

11am - : Youth BJJ ( No Gi ) Seminar - $50              ( limited to 20 participants ) - Erin

12pm - 1:30pm: Adult BJJ (No Gi )  Seminar - $100   ( Limited to 30 participants) - Erin

1:30pm - Meet & Greet - $40 ( limited to 10 people ) , includes photo op and 1 autograph. must bring your own item to be autographed or we have gloves and trading cards of the fighter here for purchase.

November 21st - Lions Den Thanksgiving / BJJ Belt Promotions - 1pm - All BJJ Students should be in attendance. All students up for promotion will receive their belts. This will be a Thanksgiving themed Pot Luck , please choose an item off of the sign up sheet at the gym to bring. 1 dish per family.

December 13'th - Annual PARENTS NIGHT OUT / KIDS CHRISTMAS PARTY - 5:30PM - 7:30PM - This is Free and for all Youth members. Parents , drop the kids off at 5:30pm and pick them back up by 7:30pm. The kids will be making Christmas Decorations to put on the tree here at the Den. They will also decorate Christmas cookies while we watch a Christmas Movie. We will have pizza , and Hot Cocoa here for them so don't worry about feeding them first.  This will be a fun night for the kids and an opportunity for parents to go out and get some shopping done.​

February - Annual NAGA tournament - Held minutes away at the Albany Armory , this is the annual tournament we push our youth students to compete in. While it is not mandatory , it is highly encouraged for all students with 6 or more months experience. We will have plenty of coaches on hand. We also get a good turnout of adult students competing at this one so if you're thinking about giving a tournament a shot , this is a great option!

March 18'th -  BJJ Belt promotions & Professor Secor clinic at the Den.   Professor Secor will be in the house putting on a clinic for adults as well as one for the kids. Each family should bring a pot luck dish to share.

April 10'th - BJJ Seminar with TBA  -  We will be having another one of the great instructors in from the main Renzo Gracie academy in NYC. This will be the 1'st time this instructor has been with us and we are excited to have him. details will be released on 1/1/27 for this event and it will be a good one! This seminar will be in the gi 

​

ages 12 - adult : Limited to 30 participants 

Cost : $100 per person      ( family discount - 3 people for $200 )

June 11'th - Lions Den Summer BBQ Belt promotions  -  This will be held at the Schodack island state park.  There will be music , games and plenty of great food! We will have a belt promotion ceremony.  We supply everything , nothing for members to do but show up. Bring your immediate family members or a plus 1.  For kids we also have a face painter on site as well as a balloon artist. There is also a great playground and bathrooms 30 ywards away. Party will be at the large pavilion .  6pm - 9pm.

August 7'th - 9'th -  LIONS DEN ANNUAL BASH AT THE BEACH ! - WILDWOOD NJ 

​

We used to have the each year and we are bringing it back for 2027! The annual Naga BJJ tournament held in Wildwood NJ is the largest Naga held worldwide throughout the year. We will head down on friday and have fun team planned events over the 3 days. Students can come down just to compete or for 1 day if they wish, totally up to you on to what you want to do. For youth , adults and families .    schedule of planned events below

Friday 8/7 - Hotel check in  ( We stay at the adventurer hotel located at the end of the boardwalk , I would make your reservations by february )  Adult students can organize room sharing and booking together to save $ ) 

​

11am - 3pm  - We meet at the beach in front of the Adventurer hotel.  Look for the Lions Den flag flying high !!

 

3pm - 5pm - Pool Party - We will be at the Pool at the Adventurer hotel.  

​

6pm - Weigh ins at the convention center 

​

6:45 - Dinner at the Mudhen - Outdoor Dining , live music and outdoor games for the kids

​

Saturday 8/8 - Competition time - Youth & teens compete 

​

Meet at the convention center at 9am

​

Team warm up at 9:15am , competition starts at 10am.

​

​

6pm - We will meet at the boardwalk convention center for a night on the boardwalk. This is mostly us parents hanging out while the kids ride all of the rides. Luckily there is plenty of good food and drinks to keep us occupied for the night. Always a fun time.

​

Sunday 8/9 - Adults compete - Coaches will be at the convention center by 9:30am , competition will begin at 10am. You must weigh in 1 hour prior to your match . Coaches will be here until the end of the tournament .

​

11am - Those not competing , we will be back on the beach . Look for the flag and listen for the country music! 

​

2pm - Party and lunch at the pool!  We will be hangin by the pool and we will be making lunch for the members. Cold cut subs , chips n dips and drinks will be served at pool lounge ( indoor room overlooking the pool) we will have pb&J if any little ones dont like the other options. 

​

Note : members book their own rooms and can stay at any hotel but to do events at the adventurer hotel you will need a room/ wristband from that hotel.We recommend booking by 2/1/27. you do not need to stay at this hotel to meet at the beach in front of it. members register themselves for naga online . members pay their own dinner bill on friday night and purchase their own ride tickets etc on sat. Lions Den is basically just organizing but we do cover lunch on sat at the pool.

September 18'th - Seminar with UFC Fighter TBA  -  We will have one of the top stars in the UFC in the house today teaching a seminar in no Gi BJJ as well as one in striking for MMA. Stay tuned as this will be a very big announcement and exciting event! 

​
